Commonwealth Brings in New Talent for Live Music Sundays

Commonwealth Brings in New Talent for Live Music Sundays
Commonwealth
will add an acoustic soundtrack to its stylish ambiance by showcasing live music from local and international talent every Sunday.

Commonwealth’s 2,000-square-foot rooftop will provide an ideal setting for guests to enjoy live performances and an unparalleled view of Downtown Las Vegas. To complement the celebration of music and fashion, revelers can savor innovative libations created by Mixologist Juyoung Kang including Little Hot Mess, French 75 and The Liberal Lady.

  • Same Sex Mary: March 17 – Showcasing a versatile sound with blues, rock and jazz influences, Same Sex Mary began as a folk duo in 2010. The up-and-coming Boulder City band added two additional band members and recently released their debut album on vinyl, “Sex Cells,” which was recorded live on analog tape.
  • Love Hate Away: March 24 – The female-fronted Love Hate Away was recently featured on, “MORE Access” on FOX 5 and The X-Effect on X107.5.
  • Donacat: March 31 – A world traveler, Donna fuses blues, folk and jazz into her signature sound. The multi-talented artist enjoys expressing herself through pottery, painting, writing and beading.

Recently named one of the “7 New Reasons to Hit Las Vegas,” by the New York Post, Commonwealth brings a stylish new social scene to the burgeoning bar district in Downtown Las Vegas. The swanky 6,000-square-foot cocktail bar is a collision of art and architectural influences inspired by pre-Prohibition era design and libations; complete with its very own backroom speakeasy. Crystal chandeliers bring a touch of elegance to the overall design, which evokes a worn, industrial ambiance. The cocktail menu combines classic and progressive methods and ingredients to offer drinks like, “Let’s Get Naked and See Who’s Stronger” and “Little Hot Mess,” that make an indelible impression. A rooftop bar offers an experiential setting with an urban brick feel and 360 degree views of downtown.

Located at 525 E. Fremont St., Commonwealth is open Wednesday through Friday from 6 p.m. to close and 8 p.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday. More information is available by calling 702.798.7000, at www.CommonwealthLV.com, on Facebook and on Twitter.
