The high energy performance saw fans dancing and singing along to new songs such as “Ain’t That Easy,” “Really Love,” and “The Charade” as well as beloved classics “Brown Sugar” and “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” which he graciously closed the evening with.

Spotted in the crowd, Questlove and hip hop artist Common. Following the concert, Questlove hopped on the decks at BOND and surprised guests with an impromptu DJ set.

Special guest Sam Dew kicked off the evening. D’Angelo released his third studio album, Black Messiah, in late 2014 followed by a European tour featuring sold-out dates in Stockholm, Amsterdam and Paris and a U.S. tour with Mary J Blige.
