George Acosta Inked for Exclusive DJ Residency at Wynn Las Vegas
Miami-based electronic music DJ and producer, George Acosta has signed an exclusive one-year, twelve-date Las Vegas DJ residency with Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub, the premier daylife and nightlife venues at Wynn Las Vegas. Acosta debuts Saturday, July 23 at Encore Beach Club.
“We are proud to welcome George to our growing repertoire of electronic music superstars which includes Kaskade, Afrojack, and Calvin Harris, among all the other greats,” commented Sean Christie, co-owner and managing partner of Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub. He added, “George helped shape the sound of progressive house and has become a formidable international electronic music force with his renowned signature sound.”
Acosta’s career began 20 years ago, sweeping the progressive house/trance music scene by storm in his native Miami. Currently, Acosta is touring North and South America in support of his long-anticipated debut album, “Visions Behind Expressions” [Black Hole Recordings]. The album has spawned chart topping singles, including the recent Billboard crossover hit, “True Love” featuring Fisher.
“Being a Las Vegas resident DJ wasn’t around ten years ago, so it’s a privilege to take on this new kind of venture,” said Acosta, “It’s Vegas, everything goes. Sonically, people know I’ve created something unique. For these dates, they’re going to hear my tracks which contain that element, as well as a few things I’m going to add to spice things up a notch.”
