Greg Travis Headlines at The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas Sept. 28 – Oct. 3
Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow’s world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah’s Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week.
Greg Travis takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday, with supporting acts Jackie Kashian and Jonathan Bell. Improv shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating and an Improv t-shirt. Special two-for-one tickets are also available for locals during the 10:30pm show. Tickets are available at Harrah’s Box Office (702-369-5223) and online at www.harrahs.com.
As an actor, Greg has appeared in over 30 feature films. He has the chameleon-like ability to play a wide range of characters from tough cops to a sensitive flower salesmen. He can change his voice and look so profoundly one might not always recognize him, yet he is unforgettable as the characters he portrays.
Greg is often recognized for his costarring roles in Showgirls and Starship Troopers. Greg’s upcoming films include Mortuary, Jack Satin, The Last Stand, Night of the Living Dead 3D and Sin-Jin Smyth. With a talent for both comedy and drama, Greg has starred on a long list of television shows, including CSI Miami, Strong Medicine, JAG and Cold Case.
Greg also produced and starred in a theatrical production called America the Bizarre where he played seven different characters in full make-up and costume, ending with a dead on impression of Lord Buckley. He also received great reviews for his portrayal of Andy Warhol in the stage play Girl of the Year. Greg has headlined at most of the top comedy clubs in the country as well as opening up for such stars as Cher, Tom Jones and Dolly Parton.
As a filmmaker, Greg has written and directed over 20 short films and videos, and has directed two feature films entitled Dark Seduction and Night Creep. He’s currently developing three other film projects entitled The Spoiler, Bofugly and With Joy and has two leading roles in films due out this year. Increasingly in demand, he looks forward to a long and prosperous career.
