The cover girl was accompanied by her mother and her manager; the group snacked on popcorn and sipped on diet coke during the show. In town to host the season opening of TAO Beach, Shayk said that she has visited Las Vegas many times with Sports Illustrated but has never gotten the chance to see any Cirque du Soleil productions.

While backstage after the show, Shayk applauded the cast and told them it was the best show she had ever seen. She also felt right at home amongst all the Russian artists whom she was able to chat with in her native language, which she noted was a real treat for her mother who only speaks Russian.
