Jack 100.5 FM Presents The Fixx Listener Appreciation Concert at Ovation on Nov. 7-8
New-wave British band The Fixx formed in 1980 and signed with a label and released its debut album, Shuttered Room, just one year later. Throughout the years, The Fixx has released 12 albums which have included hit songs “One Thing Leads to Another,” “Red Skies (At Night)” and “Driven Out.”
The band celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2005 with a DVD made by its fans and the album Twentyfifth Anniversary Anthology. All of the original members, but the bassist, remains in the band today and includes Cy Curnin on vocals, Adam Woods on drums, Jamie West-Oram on guitar and Rupert Greenall on keyboards. Gary Tibbs has joined the band as its new bassist.
