M Resort Hiring 250 More Team Members
In an announcement made today by M Resort Spa Casino officials, the newest Las Vegas resort located on South Las Vegas Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway, the property will immediately hire an additional 250 team members. The resort has received a tremendous reaction to its new state-of-the-art architecture, friendly service philosophy and overall value.
“The M has received an overwhelming response from the market,” said Anthony A. Marnell, III, Chairman and CEO of the M Resort in a statement. “In a city where a number of projects have been stopped or put on hold, we were able to open on time and under budget to thousands of eager guests. It shows that despite the economy, there are people who are willing to spend if they know they are getting great service and value.”
According to casino officials, the resort was projected to do 5,000 covers a day in its food and beverage outlet and has done nearly double that in the first three days. The M Resort has been twice as busy as projected and is taking steps to meet the customer demand by immediately hiring an additional 250 team members.
“I was blown away by the resort. It is beautiful and the people they have hired are kind and courteous. You can tell they are working hard to help every guest. The complimentary self-serve beverage stations are very nice and adds to the level of service,” said Harriet Presner, Henderson, NV.
The resort is also opening up more sign-up stations for its iMagine Rewards Club and now has 20 enrollment stations for customers. Since opening on March 1, the M Resort has enrolled more than 20,000 iMagine Rewards Club members. Casino officials report the March goal for signing new members is 25,000, a number they are rapidly approaching in the first few days since the resort opened. The M Resort’s iMagine Rewards club members may use their points for dining, cash back, rooms and suites AND free play. Members can also redeem points at M Resort’s on-site gas station, car wash and pharmacy.
“I was shocked at the value you can get here. Five star service and superior quality without the high price tag. They really are taking care of their locals,” said Leah Agus, Beverly Hills, CA.
“Our team members have done a phenomenal job and are working extremely hard to meet the needs of our guests. They’ve been working around the clock and still have smiles on their faces. No matter how tiring it’s been, they’re all up for the challenge,” Marnell said. “We’re taking immediate steps to hire more motivated team members to reinforce our service commitment and assist our guests. The demand is there and the people have expressed their love for our product in just these few short days. Our guests are coming from all over Las Vegas, including in-market tourists, not just from our neighboring communities south of the Strip.”
The resort plans to have the new team members in place by next week to help with the thousands of people that have come to experience unrivaled service and value as well as state-of-the-art amenities and unparalleled views of the Las Vegas Strip.
“Prior to opening, I said we were going to provide our guests with the best slot club, the best service, the best gaming mix with the highest pay tables, the best dining in a new and exciting environment and we’re doing that and our guests are responding.”
To meet the demand of its guests, the M Resort has opened its restaurant terraces early for more diners and will add another 100 slot games and ATM/cash kiosks to the casino floor.
“We have a lot of exciting amenities and innovative concepts that we are looking forward to introducing to the public. At the beginning of April we present our pool events in the entertainment and events piazza as well as happy hour specials,” said Marnell. “We are just starting to introduce people to the M and once they experience the resort I am confident they will continue to come back.”
