Minus5 Ice Experience Celebrates 10 Years Inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place in Las Vegas
Ten years ago, Minus5 Ice Experience opened the doors to its first Las Vegas ice attraction inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. In celebration of its 10-year anniversary, the “coolest” experience in Las Vegas invites guests to join in on the fun with a special entry offer, birthday-inspired cocktails and more.
Having served over 1.6 million cool customers and counting, in the last decade, Minus5 has stayed true to its roots of offering a unique and icy-fun experience. From suiting up in a faux-fur coat to sipping out of signature ice glasses, the one-of-a-kind ice attraction allows guests to create memories that are sure to last a lifetime. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Minus5 is offering limited-time specials throughout the month of October, including:
- Entry Special: Guests can raise an ice glass and celebrate inside the ice experience with 20 percent off all entry packages. Text “COOLFOR10” to 313131, or mention the code at the door to receive the discount. This chill price is available at both Las Vegas locations, including The Shoppes at Mandalay Place and Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Las Vegas.
- Birthday Shot: When it’s our birthday, everyone wins. Guests are welcome to join the party with two for $10 birthday shots. Made with coconut rum, pineapple juice and topped with whip cream and sprinkles, this tasty libation is the gift that keeps on giving.
Being the winter wonderland experience in the desert Minus5 embodies, it’s no wonder many have flocked to the attraction, providing an era of fun facts including installing over 655 tons of sculpted ice equating to over 1.4 million pounds; seeing many famous faces such as Vegas Golden Knights’ Eric Haula, eight-time Grammy-winning reggae artist Ziggy Marley, Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil, professional boxer Manny Pacquiao, former Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Carson Palmer, and much more; being featured in several major news outlets including The Bachelorette, Good Morning America, Tanked, and the TODAY Show, to name a few; and donating over one million gloves and 6,000 faux-fur coats to various charities across the Las Vegas Valley.
Over the last 10 years, Minus5 has kept their fingers on the pulse of what keeps Las Vegas cool. From creating a Michael Jackson replica to a 16-foot tall Elvis Presley, all made out of 100% pure Canadian ice, Minus5 continues to bring relevant and pop culture inspired pieces to life.
