In February, 2012 Rival Sons went into Honey Pye studios in Nashville, Tennessee to record their next album with Dave Cobb and Vance Powell, before heading to Europe on another tour with mostly sold-out shows. The album Head Down was released in September, gaining all-over positive reviews from renowned magazines, such as Classic Rock Magazine. Another, this time completely sold-out tour followed in September and October. Rival Sons finished the year with the Classic Rock Awards as ‘Best Breakthrough Band’ and winners of ‘Best New Band’ in Planet Rock’s user poll.
2013 starts off with a short tour of the USA and Canada, before the band moves on to Europe for another tour all over the continent. — Wikipedia
