This hard working guy started playing guitar at the age of 17 and his first audiences were in a local bar that his uncle owned. During this time he knew he had to rely on himself to get his name out there, so he produced two self-released albums Lost Bound Rails and Wishbone Saloon.

Bingham’s work paid off when he was signed with Lost Highway Records and his major-label debut album Mescalito was released in 2007. The album was a hit with critics and in 2009 he released his next album Roadhouse Sun while working with Marc Ford, the former guitarist for The Black Crowes.

He joined with producer/songwriter T-Bone Burnett later that year to help with the music that would be contributed to the award winning film “Crazy Heart.” The song they worked on together, “The Weary Kind,” ended up winning an Oscar.

Bingham and his band The Dead Horses released their next album Junky Star in 2010 and they continue to entertain the masses with their country music.
