Rock bands Seether and Papa Roach with special guests Kyng and Islander will take the stage at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at 7 p.m. (Photo credit: Marina Chavez).
Multi-platinum alternative rock trio Seether, comprised of Shaun Morgan (vocals, guitar), Dale Stewart (bass, backing vocals) and John Humphrey (drums), have developed into one of rock’s most fearsome units playing with precisionn, grit and authority, yet still light on their feet. The band, originally from South Africa, has released eight albums including two certified platinum, two certified gold and a live concert DVD that has sold over 500,000 copies. Seether has quietly amassed 11 No. 1 singles and 17 top five multi-format hits.
GRAMMY award-nominated, multi-platinum hard rock group Papa Roach, made up of Jacoby Shaddix (vocals), Jerry Horton (guitars), Tobin Esperance (bass) and Tony Palermo (drums), have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and are most known for their hit songs “Last Resort,” “She Loves Me Not,” “Scars” and “Getting Away with Murder.” After supporting 2012’s The Connection for nearly two years, the quartet collectively decided on a change of scenery for their eighth album, which resulted in its most infectious, invigorating and incendiary body of work to date, F.E.A.R. Papa Roach preserves the robust riffs and swaggering rhythms that marked the bands initial call-to-arms, while seamlessly infusing cinematic electronic flourishes, sweeping hooks and magnetic melodies. The New Year also marks an important milestone as the 15th anniversary of Papa Roach’s triple-platinum debut, Infest, which solidified them as hard rock leaders. Since then, the band has paved the way for countless other acts to find success at both radio and on stage.
Tickets start at $39.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 at the Hard Rock Hotel Box Office, online at AXS.com or by calling 888-9-AXS-TIX.
