Billboard Latin Music Awards’ New Artist of the Year J Balvin launches his eagerly-awaited first headlining tour with special guest Becky G this fall.
The tour will make a stop at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Saturday, October 24 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m.
Born in Medellin, and now proudly acting as a social media force and young global ambassador for an artistic and cultural renaissance underway in Colombia, J Balvin has been hailed by Billboard as “the biggest breakout act Latin music has seen in many years.” Creating a unique urban fusion that pulls from the early influences of Puerto Rico’s pioneering reggaeton artists, both the distinct Colombian rhythms of his heritage and the contemporary sounds of a new street-level scene, and a love for progressive Hip-Hop and R&B, J Balvin is undeniably Latin music’s most significant new artist. Becky G is a singer, songwriter and rapper who has won several Radio Disney Music Awards including Best New Artist in 2014 and You’re So Fancy and Stuck In Our Heads in 2015. Her smash hit single “Shower” has more than 105 million views on YouTube and was one of People’s 2014 Top 10 Songs of the summer. Becky G also scored her first No. 1 single, “Can’t Get Enough,” featuring Pitbull on the Latin Billboard Charts last year.
