The House is a Rockin’ at Station Casinos in January

Station Casinos continues to entertain locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.
New shows include Rock Tribute Series at Santa Fe Station and Texas Station, performing classic hits from rocks bands from the ’60s and ’70s and Latin Night with Noche Nortena at Boulder Station featuring the best in regional Mexican music. Also at Green Valley Ranch, Sin City Sinners will take over Ovation on a regular basis beginning Jan. 24. Meanwhile, bands like Zowie Bowie and Yellow Brick Road continue to rock the night away at several of the Station Casinos properties. Most shows are free or will be noted below if they have a minimal cover charge. Coming this month are:

Every Sunday:
- Ovation – Zowie Bowie harkens the days of the Rat Pack with its new Sinatra inspired show at 6 p.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
Every Tuesday
- Quinn’s Irish Pub – Trivia night from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
- Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Michael Grimm on piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Every Wednesday:
- Ovation – Yellow Brick Road (YBR), the Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band, takes the stage at 9 p.m. Unlike most tribute bands that generally pay homage to one artist only, YBR takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum. This show will be dark on Jan. 7 for a private event.

- Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Michael Grimm on piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Every Friday:
- Ovation – The Michael Grimm Band from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Grimm performs his personal blend of music where a country boy melds soul and rock accompanied by his 12-piece band. The band will not perform on Jan. 9 as headline concert band Chris Young perform that night inside Ovation.
- Ovation – Steel Panther from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., this ’80s glam metal parody band, demonstrates their spirit and love of everything rock ‘n’ roll with their colorful repartee, loud costumes and graphic body language. Guests must be 21 years and older.
- Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
- Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love on piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
Every Saturday:
- Ovation – The Michael Grimm Band from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Grimm performs his personal blend of music where a country boy melds soul and rock accompanied by his 12-piece band. The band will not perform on Jan. 10, and The Nite Kings will fill in its place. They will not perform again on Jan.17 as Ovation will host a UFC viewing party for the Franklin vs. Henderson fight and again on Jan. 31 for the Couture vs. Belfort fight . Both are at 7 p.m. and feature a $10 cover that includes the first drink.
- Ovation – Glam Rock Saturdays with doors at 10 p.m. and featuring tribute artists of hair bands on a rotating schedule. The January schedule features: Pyromania tribute to Def Leppard on Jan. 10, Poison tribute band Unskinny Bop on Jan. 17. Beginning Jan. 24, Sin City Sinners will perform as Ovation’s regular Saturday night show. Guests must be 21 years and older.
