The Venetian Hosts 3rd Annual Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament Benefitting Nevada SPCA April 17
The Venetian hosts the 3rd Annual Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament to benefit the Nevada S.P.C.A. (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) local no-kill animal shelter. The Jennifer Harman Charity is recommending a contribution of $300 + $30 for each seat reserved. There will be optional $100 re-donations for additional tournament chips and a $100 last chance add-on. First place prize is a $10,000 seat into the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event.

WHY: The Nevada SPCA is the only no-kill animal shelter in Las Vegas. It is not funded federally and depends on private donations to continue its mission to rescue, spay and neuter, medically treat, and humanely house abandoned or neglected animals. More than $500,000 has been raised through Harman’s fundraising efforts since 2007.
