If poker is what you’re after, you will absolutely have to make time to visit a few of the places that helped grow games like Texas Hold’em into the household names that they are today.
The Rio – The current home of the World Series of Poker has a lot of great gambling options to choose from on top of its poker room, not to mention top flight entertainment with Penn and Teller, a mammoth outdoor pool zone, and great restaurants – just a great casino to visit in general. Need to brush up on your gambling knowledge; Planet 7 Casino has a number of great instructional articles, including how to play roulette.
The Bellagio – Host to Bobby’s Room, an exclusive poker room with the highest daily table limits in the world. Named after 1978 WSOP Champion Bobby Baldwin, this room is a great opportunity to catch a glimpse of some of the top poker players in Vegas plying their trade.
Binions Horseshoe Casino – The original home of the World Series of Poker, Binions poker room has undergone a facelift in recent years but still maintains that classic Vegas feel. A great selection of tournaments plus a lot of poker history can be found inside its walls seven days a week. While not positioned directly on the strip (but more a facet of Downtown Vegas), no poker player’s trip is complete without a visit to Binions.
Fine cuisine
The food in Vegas might not get as much praise as its gambling and shows does, but there’s no shortage of AAA-rated restaurants up and down the strip.
Andiamo Italian Steakhouse – Rated one of the top eateries in Vegas on Trip Advisor, you’ll have a hard time finding a better cut of beef anywhere on the West Coast.

Ka features more of a martial arts theme, while O has a water-based stage that is truly something to behold. Want popular music incorporated? There’s Love (based on the Beatle’s) and One (the song library of Michael Jackson).

Jabbawockeez – The dance troupe known for winning the first season of America’s Best Dance Crew has their own show at the MGM Grand where they bring their incredible choreography to a whole new level. A welcome change of pace from the standard Vegas shows you hear so much about.
