The producers of X Burlesque and X Rocks have announced the expansion of the “X” brand with the hilarious premiere of X COMEDY Uncensored Fun on Thursday, June 25 at 8 p.m. at Bugsy’s Showroom inside Flamingo Las Vegas (Pictured: PIFF the Magic Dragon).
Hosted by comedy veterans Nancy Ryan and John Bizarre, X COMEDY Uncensored Fun will feature non-stop laughs and a hysterical lineup of comedians, including PIFF the Magic Dragon and his sidekick Mr. Piffles, the “TV Guy” Joe Trammel, Dennis Blair and more.
“With the continued success of X Burlesque and X Rocks, we’re X-static to expand the ‘X’ brand into comedy at Flamingo Las Vegas,” said X COMEDY producer, Angela Stabile. “Similar to the rest of the X family, X COMEDY is going to be risqué and jaw-dropping. We can’t wait for the laughs to begin!”
PIFF the Magic Dragon is an act like no other. Imagine Larry David in a dragon suit performing jaw-dropping magic tricks and you’re on the right track. With more than 12 million YouTube hits to his name, PIFF has performed to hundreds of thousands of civilians in preposterous venues, such as Radio City Music Hall, Shakespeare’s Globe, the O2, London and Sydney Opera house. His solo show has had five record-breaking runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, two sell-out seasons at Soho Theatre in London’s West End and a national tour of the UK and Australia. He recently opened for Grammy Award-winning musicians Mumford & Sons on their 17-date UK tour.
Joe Trammel will bring the house to a roar with his upbeat, comedy act. Trammel aka “The Man of 1,000 Faces” has captivated the attention of comedy lovers everywhere. His multi-dimensional personality and quick wit provide the utmost hilarious comedy routine. Trammel refers to his comedic style as “visual comedy.” He is relatable to audience members of all ages by performing a modern show, referring to and building his routines around popular songs and current pop culture.
Dennis Blair is one of the most talented and versatile comedians in show business. His act combines music, standup and topical observation, and can be tailored to the tastes of any audience he works with. As a result, he is equally at home in comedy clubs, corporate venues, cruise ships and concert halls. He has performed on “The Tonight Show” and HBO, has co-hosted the “Stephanie Miller Radio Show” with Elayne Boosler, and has entertained everywhere from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. He has appeared regularly in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Reno and Laughlin alongside Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, Jackie Mason, the Beach Boys, Gloria Estefan, Tom Jones and George Carlin, with whom he toured with for more than 18 years.
X COMEDY Uncensored Fun is performed Thursday through Sunday at 8 p.m. inside Bugsy’s Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas. Tickets are $49.95, $59.95 and $69.95 plus tax and fees. A Comedy Star ticket, which includes a guarantee to be part of the show, is available for $100 plus tax and fees.
