If you’ve spent any time downtown Las Vegas lately, you already know that it is where some of the best online content and photos are captured.
It’s no longer weird to see someone filming a livestream, setting up a tripod, or realizing halfway through your night that you might’ve just walked through someone’s viral moment. Sometimes you just have to know where to look.
Apparently, Irish boxing standout Callum Walsh rolled through Circa Las Vegas the other week with his girlfriend, UFC fighter Tabatha Ricci. The two grabbed dinner at Barry’s Downtown Prime, which, honestly, sounds like a pretty solid move if you’ve got a fight coming up. It sounds like it worked out, too, since Walsh went on to pick up a win as the main event at the Zuffa Boxing debut at the Apex Center. While they were there, Walsh treated his coaches to dinner and got the full Barry’s treatment. Chef Barry Dakake came out, cooked for them personally, and even took them back into the kitchen so they could see everything in action, including that massive Tomahawk steak being prepared. After dinner, Circa Executive Richard Wilk showed them around the property. They even messed around on the Lucky Box machine, pulled some cool memorabilia, and were very welcoming to fans who stopped to say hi. At one point, they even ran into their friend Bryce Hall, which feels about right for a night downtown.
Word on the casino floor was that popular influencer Bryce Hall was hanging at the blackjack tables with UFC former champ Aljamain Sterling and gaming influencer Matthew Tanner. They were filming their high-limit play for Matthew’s YouTube channel. Bryce’s girlfriend, Mikaela Lafuente ( who is also very popular and a well-known influencer ) decided she wanted in on the action too. She made her way over to the High Limit roulette table with gaming influencer Torie Gazlay and Daniela Yero to take a few spins at roulette and had way more luck than the blackjack table crowd. People started gathering around just to watch the streak. Before everyone split, the group took another swing at the Lucky Box and walked away with even more memorabilia. This seems to be becoming a bit of a Circa tradition at this point. The whole group posed for photos after their successful pulls at the Lucky Box Vending machine.
You never really know how the night’s gonna shake out in Vegas. In an instant, your night could go from dinner and drinks to a whirlwind of celebrity run-ins. If you’re hanging downtown at Circa, chances are something fun, weird, or unexpectedly cool is gonna happen. Next time you’re downtown, be sure to not only look up to admire the lights and the zipline, but also because you never know who you are bound to see.
