Las Vegas gay bar, The Garden Las Vegas announces Las Vegas’ “Drag Superstar,” a drag race-style competition featuring the Valley’s fiercest up-and-coming Queens.

Beginning Thursday, September 30 at 10 p.m. and continuing every Thursday through November 18, The Garden will host 14 local aspiring Drag Queens to compete in a weekly elimination-style drag race competition! Each week audience members and a selection of special guest judges will decide who moves on to the next week, resulting in a ‘hoedown’ showdown of epic proportions. The Queen that conquers the competition will win a $2,000 Grand Prize and an invitation to join The Garden’s famed residency lineup which includes RuPaul’s Drag Race alums like Alexis Mateo, Coco Montrese, Kylie Sonique Love, Jaymes Mansfield, Jessica Wild, and Las Vegas’ own Salem Night.

“The drag community is only getting bigger and the best way to facilitate that growth is by creating an opportunity for local Queens in our own community to share the spotlight!,” said Eduardo Cordova, owner of The Garden Las Vegas. “The Garden’s lineup of Queens have helped make us the premier venue for Drag in Las Vegas and Drag Superstar is an incredible opportunity for us to lift up the Queens who will represent drag as we continue to move into the future.”

While attendees root for their new favorite Queens, guests are invited to put in ‘werk’ and indulge in any of The Garden’s chic craft cocktails, 2-for-1 bottle service options, and specialty shots. Signature bites will also be available.

This event is 21+ and open to the public, entry is complimentary. To reserve a table for The Garden Las Vegas’ “Drag Superstar” competition, visit
