“Cinevegas From The Vault” Screening Series at Clark County Library Continues

The “CineVegas From the Vault” screening series, presented by the CineVegas Film Festival and the Las Vegas – Clark County Library District, continues in April and May with two additional films that CineVegas has either premiered or shown throughout its history. The screenings are free and open to the public, and are held at 7 pm at the Clark County Library, located at 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

On Thursday, April 2, the series will feature KURT COBAIN ABOUT A SON, which played at the 2007 Festival. Directed by AJ Schnack, the film is an intimate and moving meditation on the late musician and artist in his own words and voice, based on more than 25 hours of previously unheard audio interviews of Kurt Cobain. The series continues on Thursday, May 7 with RUNNING STUMBLED, a premiere from the 2006 Festival. After years working in Hollywood, and after a twenty-five year absence, director John Maringouin returns home as the prodigal son and films a most intimate, frank and strange portrait about the complex relationship between his estranged father and his father’s self-destructive common-law wife.
