Galleria at Sunset, in partnership with Your Insurance Agency and Humana will join an estimated 1,000 local groups to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of National Senior Health & Fitness Day (NSHFD) on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. As an official event site, Galleria at Sunset will hold a Poker Walk on May 30.
On this day, Galleria at Sunset and Your Insurance Agency will join an estimated 100,000 older adults across the country participating in local activities to help promote active, healthy lifestyles through physical activity, good nutrition, and preventive care.
According to Jamie Cooper, “Our Sun Striders Poker Walk is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to make, renew, and revitalize their commitment to live healthier lives through better health and fitness.”
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and feature stations throughout the mall with fitness and education, prizes for best poker hands every hour, and a grand prize of a $500 shopping spree with Galleria at Sunset. Check-in will begin at 9 a.m. in the Center Court.
