The group worked together in Three Square’s expansive warehouse, sorting and repacking donated food to be distributed to families struggling with hunger throughout Southern Nevada.
Approximately one in seven in our community are food insecure, equating to nearly 279,000 Southern Nevadans (which includes more than 109,000 children). The event in the heart of Bank of America’s Give A Meal campaign – its national partnership with Feeding America that matches $2 for every $1 donated resulting in nearly 600,000 meals to food insecure Southern Nevada families during the past seven years.
