Nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Original Score, Close Encounters of the Third Kind remains as engrossing and inspiring today as it was forty-plus years ago. Written and directed by Steven Spielberg, the film tells the story of Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss), an ordinary blue-collar electrical lineman from Indiana who experiences a close encounter with an unidentified flying object.
The canopy-free Henderson Pavilion is just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. On-site parking is free.

Food and beverage vendors will be on-site during the concert. Outside food, sealed non-alcoholic beverages, and personal-sized coolers are permitted. Outside alcohol and glass containers are not permitted.
Blankets and lawn chairs and are permitted, as long as they do not obstruct another person’s view.
