Indigo Joe’s Takes a Gamble on Vegas

Indigo Joe’s Sports Pub & Restaurant in Las Vegas, the newest member of the family-friendly chain, offers all of the things Indigo Joe’s fans from West Coast to East Coast have come to love: a sizable menu with a variety of choices sure to please any appetite, inviting atmosphere, above and beyond customer service, “Famous TV Wall”, sound-proof kid’s game room and full bar complete with distinctive specialty drinks plus 20 beers on tap.

However, the Las Vegas location marks a new milestone for the national franchise brand – their first 24-hour establishment with breakfast menu, gaming, and enclosed smoking bar. The owners of this first Nevada Indigo Joe’s franchise, Christine Chan and Nathan Trent, are excited about opening their restaurant in their hometown of Las Vegas.

Franchisee Christine Chan explains, “We chose Las Vegas for our location because I am a long time resident of 22 years and this is home for me.” Christine brings with her 20 years of combined kitchen, service and management experience – much of that with another popular national brand. “After working for a major franchise brand for 7 years, I wanted to go into business for myself. I ran a profitable store and knew I had the ability to do the same for myself. I started looking into franchises and after researching decided on Indigo Joe’s.” Business partner, Nathan Trent brings with him an equally successful track record of restaurant management, and feels like Indigo Joe’s is a great fit for not only he and his family, but also for the Las Vegas market.

“Indigo Joe’s is a concept that brings together three of the most important things for me: family, great food and sports. It is a fun atmosphere with an extensive menu that everyone will love. Being in the restaurant business for as long as I have been, having a great menu is very important,” remarks Christine. “I understand the importance of a family-friendly environment since I have a family of my own. I am also an avid sports fan, and I love the fact that we will have 36 flat screen TV’s throughout with the ability to show multiple games at the same time.”

“We are introducing something that I think is not available in Las Vegas. For people who have families – they can watch a game, have great food, let their kids play in the game room and sit in comfortable chairs – all in a non-smoking dining area,” adds Christine. “For those who don’t have families, we have a bar atmosphere that is enclosed and patrons must be 21 to enter – so it gives them the ability to have a great time in a smoking and gaming atmosphere.”

Indigo Joe’s of Las Vegas is located at St. Rose Dominican Hospital-San Martin Campus on Warm Springs between Buffalo Drive and Durango Drive.  Call (702) 851-JOES (5637) for more information.
