New Year’s Nation (NYN) has announced that Las Vegas has been selected as one of 10 host cities for NYN’s simultaneous New Year’s Eve celebration. The national New Year’s Eve party, hosted locally at the Paris Las Vegas hotel’s ultra-lounge, Risque and Ah Sin restaurant, will feature onsite entertainment by DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spin Diesel, DJ Mark Mac, DJ Crime and DJ Poun and a live, nationwide performance by Travis Barker and DJ AM (TRVSDJAM) through NYN-TV.
The concept of the nationwide, simultaneous party was born in 2006, when NYN CEO Jann Yogman hosted the first NYN New Year’s Eve party in five U.S. cities. This year, Las Vegas will join NYN’s New Year’s Eve celebrations in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, Portland and Seattle for a simultaneous nationwide party across four time zones.
TRVSDJAM will unite on stage to headline the NYN celebration live from NYN’s Los Angeles New Year’s Eve Party at The Lot. The TRVSDJAM set will be streamed live in high-definition (HD) quality on the Internet at www.newyearsnation.com, and broadcast live to NYN parties across the U.S. through NYN-TV, a live, HD quality broadcast powered by BitGravity, a Content Delivery Network (CDN) for interactive broadcast. Through NYN-TV, guests at the NYN party in Las Vegas, as well as Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, New York City, Portland and Seattle will be able to see TRVSDJAM’s performance live on giant projection screens and dance to their music.

Live footage from NYN celebrations around the nation will be featured on ESPN during the “Red Bull: New Year. No Limits.” New Year’s Eve event in Las Vegas beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT on December 31, immediately following the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
Guests at the NYN Las Vegas party will also be able to watch the “Red Bull: New Year. No Limits.” jumps by motocross star Robbie Maddison and driving legend Rhys Millen.
Maddison, will jump his motorcycle more than 120 feet high and land on the top of the 96-foot-high and 40-foot-deep replica Arc de Triomphe in front of Paris Las Vegas. Upon completing the jump, he will then drop off the Arc and freefall 50 feet to a massive landing ramp below. Millen will attempt to become the first person to ever backflip an off-road truck at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
