Inspired by Leonard Bernstein’s young people’s concert series, Kessler and Jackson, along with Keith Thompson, their renown musical director and composer on piano (musical director “Jersey Boys,” co-composer and musical arranger of “IDAHO, The Comedy Musical” and co-creator/host of hugely popular “The Composers Showcase” monthly at The Smith Center), will present a fun and entertaining show to inspire and educate the next generation of dancers, singers and actors.

“We’re excited to perform for people of all ages to entertain and instruct about the history, creation and appreciation of Broadway and musical theatre,” says Jackson. Kessler added, “We’ll explore a vast collection of iconic Broadway musicals, offer a behind-the-scenes look at industry-secrets and share our insights of how to create original musicals.”

Jackson’s and Kessler’s charismatic and elegant style of top-notch critically-acclaimed performances together from over three decades of performances and genuine romance ranging from Broadway, ballet and all over the globe will offer a glimpse of the history of Broadway, and share the beauty and value of musical theatre. Some of the popular musicals they’ll highlight include “Oklahoma,” “West Side Story,” “Showboat,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Chicago,” “Cabaret,” “The Lion King”, “Beauty and the Beast,“ and others. Their mesmerizing live performance will be complemented by colorful images of the musicals projected on a large screen, in addition to M&M American Dance Theatre’s cast of dancers and singers who will help bring the scenes to life.

Their love ignited an international career together spanning from Broadway to the Las Vegas Strip, to theatres and opera houses worldwide. They were also the starring song and dance team in “The Great Radio City Music Hall Spectacular,” touring in over 80 U.S. cities and playing an extended run at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas. Native New Yorkers, M&M’s careers have included producing, directing, writing, choreographing and performing internationally and a lifetime living, working, dancing, singing, and laughing together.

The couple have resided in Las Vegas since 2006 and proudly created in 2014 the nonprofit, M&M American Dance Theatre Works. For more information, visit www.adtw.org and www.americandance.biz
