Vegas Shepherd Rescue is the only German Shepherd Rescue in Clark County, and an official 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. Organization costs include rent for housing the dogs, medical bills, dog food, and more. German Shepherds are among the breeds commonly targeted by apartment complexes and property managers, as breed restrictions are increasingly enforced locally and nation-wide. Organizations like Vegas Shepherd Rescue save these misunderstood breeds from highly stressful situations – usually from high-kill animal shelters – shelter and rehabilitate them, and make sure they go to a loving fur-ever home tailored to their specific needs.
