Manufacturer Donates 10,000 Face Masks to Local Schools

Las Vegas headquartered PandMedic Solutions recently donated 10,000 medical-grade face masks to non-profit CORE and to two Opportunity 180 partner schools – Futuro Academy and Democracy Prep at the Agassi Campus.

In addition to the donation presentation, PandMedic Solutions executives offered representatives from each group a safety-minded guided tour of the mask-making manufacturing process and impressive facility.

The donation included a combination of N95 and three-ply masks and comes at a time when schools and non-profit groups are grappling with the ongoing challenges of remote learning, plans to return to in-person education and the budget difficulties presented by the need to purchase and provide PPE for staff, students, and families. CORE, Futuro, and Democracy Prep serve under-resourced students from communities that have been dramatically impacted by the pandemic.

“The support of community-minded partners like PandMedic Solutions is so impactful,” said Lindsay Harper, Founder and Executive Director of CORE. “Not having to purchase these vital items will free up funding in our budget to provide additional academic and emotional support to the students we serve. Their support is greatly appreciated!”

“Ensuring schools have the tools they need to bring staff and students back safely is a critical piece of the equation to restart in-person learning. Partners like PandMedic Solutions help make sure schools can have the supplies while focusing their limited dollars on student learning directly,” said Jana Wilcox Lavin, Executive Director of Opportunity 180.

PandMedic Solutions Factory Group has been making millions of PPE masks from Las Vegas since the early onset of the pandemic. They are a designer and manufacturer of disposable medical devices and the automated machinery that produces them.

After years of experience working with the biggest factories around the world, sourcing and importing medical devices, the company opened its factory headquarters in Las Vegas as a movement to bring essential products manufacturing back to the USA.

PandMedic Solutions sells PandMedic branded surgical masks, N95 respirators, and other products. It also manufactures medical products for other medical brands.

“We are excited to do a good deed for good people,” said Will Mijangos, PandMedic Solutions Operations Manager.
