Vegas doesn’t do “slow weekends,” especially not downtown. Out here, you can go from dayclub pool parties to a proper steakhouse flex in the blink of an eye, and last week at Circa Resort & Casino was a perfect example of that Las Vegas Downtown energy.

Dining at Barry’s Downtown Prime just hits different. You walk into Circa, perhaps make a stop at the iconic Vegas Vickie’s for a drink, and then an elegant evening is just an escalator ride down. Word around town is that JD Pardo, Emilio Rivera, and Michael Irby had exactly that kind of night. In town and doing it right, they linked up with Circa Exec Richard Wilk, locked in a table, and didn’t just stop at dinner. Chef Barry took them behind the scenes for a kitchen tour. Rivera even hopped on the grill himself, and yeah… social media ate that up like Barry’s famous Tomahawk.

A frequent diner at Barry’s is Mark Davis, and he happened to be there that same night. This Las Vegas Raiders Owner knows a good time, and even better food is always in store. With the Raiders always in the mix, it makes sense he is fueling up somewhere reliable.

Tables kept turning like a revolving door. After calling the UFC fights over at the UFC APEX, Michael Bisping rolled through and treated his younger brother to his first Chef Barry meal. Not a bad way to cap off fight night. If you’re getting ready for a big event, this is where you go. Francis Ngannou was in the building too, ahead of his next bout, catching up with co-owner Yasmine Lyoubi and getting dialed in. That’s just how tight Vegas circles are; everybody knows somebody.

It wasn’t just fighters and football either. Influencer Kendra Lust was taking pics with fans before sitting down with her crew, while head coach Mike Bibby was posted up, holding court like it was game day. At some point, when there are that many names in one room, you’ve gotta make it official. Chef Barry pulled everyone together for a group photo. One of those “only in Vegas” moments, which was probably followed by a Crème Brûlée because… obviously. Just to keep the streak alive, the night before, Paul Pierce was back in the kitchen with Chef Barry, too.

With all the noise about Vegas getting closer to an NBA team, the city’s been buzzing, but honestly, that’s nothing new. Big names, big nights, and elite eats? That’s just a regular weekend at Circa. It cannot be planned; you just show up and let Vegas do its thing.
