High-energy Canadian rock band Glass Tiger will take the stage in Las Vegas for the first time in 30 years at The Space on Oct. 4.
Glass Tiger has been a dominant force in the Canadian rock scene for decades. Hailing from Newmarket, Ontario, the band has been enthralling audiences with their dynamic stage presence and incredible sound since the 1980s.
“We are beyond excited to return to Las Vegas,” said band member, Sam Reid. “Playing an intimate venue is going to be truly special. We can’t wait to share our music with both our long-time fans and new fans in Vegas!”
This rare showing marks the first and only U.S. tour date this year — and, better yet, the Glass Tiger show is taking place at one of the best music venues in Las Vegas. Mark Shunock, who owns The Space and is also a Canadian, said the show will be a personal one for him.
“I grew up listening to Glass Tiger and to now have them perform live at The Space is something special for me,” said Shunock. “This concert is not to be missed. To be able to see Glass Tiger up close and personal at The Space is going to be incredible.”
The band’s debut album, “The Thin Red Line,” was rated quadruple platinum in Canada and gold in the U.S., with singles like “Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Done) and “Someday” breaching the Top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Charts.
The Space is well-known for hosting high-profile acts throughout the year, such as a MINI KISS residency with upcoming shows on Aug. 17 and Sept. 20.
