In this case, the guest placed the optional $5 side wager, which made them eligible for the Mega tier when a spade royal flush appeared. According to casino spokespeople, this marks the resort’s largest table games payout ever recorded.
The lucky person had been playing for approximately four hours and wagered around $200 on the decisive hand. The progressive jackpot builds from millions of individual side bets across the linked games and pays out only when rare hands, like a natural spade royal flush, occur.
