The event, hosted by basketball star Chris Paul, takes place on July 26, at Lagasse’s Stadium inside The Palazzo. Lavoy Allen, Al-Farouq Aminu, Alan Anderson, Jimmy Butler, Willie Green, Roger Mason, Isaiah Thomas, P.J. Tucker, and John Wallace, are just a few of the athletes who are scheduled to appear with Chris Paul in this unique charity event.
Spectators will rub elbows with some of basketball’s best while watching them lob and smash their way to ping pong greatness. This event is not only for the athletes. Should guests feel up to the challenge, they can buy their way into the amateur ping pong tournament that features a first-place cash prize of $1,000 plus the opportunity to meet Chris Paul and present the night’s celebrity tournament winner with the championship trophy.
“The Venetian and The Palazzo are amazing partners and after last year’s TopSpin event, returning for year two was a no-brainer,” said Chris Paul. “I’m honored to be able to use my celebrity to give back to the community through my foundation and through events like this.
