O’Keefe, 28, led the Wranglers to a 5-0 start in the 2012 Kelly Cup playoffs, including a three-game sweep of the Utah Grizzlies in the first round. The 6’2’’, 210-pound goalie finished the 2011-12 season, his first with Las Vegas, with a 10-9-2 regular-season record (5-1-0 in playoff games), 2.74 goals-against average and 0.903 save percentage.

“Mitch was a huge reason why we advanced in the Kelly Cup playoffs,” said Wranglers Head Coach and General Manager Ryan Mougenel. “He’s an amazing teammate and I’m very excited to see Mitch stay healthy and continue the success he had last year.”
