Kids Invited to Trick-or-Treat In Costume at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Oct. 31

In addition to the thrills and excitement of watching nitro-burning POWERade Drag Racing Series Funny Cars and Top Fuel Dragsters, young drag racing fans will have two extra reasons to attend the NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, Oct. 31. Kids are invited to attend Friday’s races to participate in the Halloween costume contest and trick-or-treat in the pro and sportsman pits. The eighth annual NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals will take place at The Strip at LVMS from Oct. 30-Nov. 2.

The costume contest will be held in the POWERade display in the pit area from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Oct. 31. NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series will participate in the judging.

Kids then are invited to trick-or-treat for candy Friday at the race teams’ haulers in the pits following the final pro qualifying session (which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.).

The NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series delivers the biggest names in professional drag racing to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, including Top Fuel Dragster stars Tony Schumacher and Rod Fuller, Funny Car champions John Force and Gary Scelzi and Pro Stock legends Warren and Kurt Johnson.
