, Las Vegas’ only current major league sports team, announces the team will challenge Monterrey Express from Mexico on November 9 at 3:05 p.m. at Orleans Arena (Photo credit: Las Vegas Legends). 

In honor of Veterans Day, this game will honor the military with all military personnel able to purchase two tickets for the price of one and all military children will get in for free. The game will also benefit the Nellis Area Spouses’ Club as they are the featured charity partner of the game. Partial proceeds from the ball toss fundraiser that is held between the third and fourth quarter will go toward the Nellis Area Spouses’ Club.

There will also be a meet and greet with players from both teams for the public to attend on Saturday, November 8 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant located at 4930 W. Flamingo Road. Fans will be able to attend and mingle with their favorite players while enjoying great food specials from Ricardo’s. The Legends aim to remain undefeated on their home turf as they beat Turlock Express on October 26 in an epic battle that ended with a shootout.

Earlier this summer, the Legends announced the team has joined the Major Arena Soccer League, a newly formed super league of 23 professional indoor arena soccer teams from across the United States and Mexico. Major Arena Soccer League will play 20 regular season games and the teams will be divided into multiple divisions based on geography. Three teams from each division will make the play-offs. The MASL season began in October and will run through February 2015.
