Tickets for the closed circuit telecast are priced at $100 (preferred viewing) and $60, not including handling fees. All seats are general admission and are now on sale at the MGM Grand ticket office outlets at the Concierge desk and the KÀ Theatre box office. Tickets also will be available by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 702-474-4000. Ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. Additional MGM MIRAGE properties will host closed circuit viewing and tickets will go on sale at a later date.

Tickets for the fight sold out in one day and established a live gate of nearly $17 million. This was second only to the De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather fight held in May 2007 which featured a record-breaking $19 million gate.

Promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank, Inc., presented by Tequila Cazadores and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate, Dewalt Tools and Southwest Airlines, this fight is an exciting and intriguing 12-round, 147-pound welterweight battle pitting two of the most recognizable and popular talents in the sport in what will be the grand finale of the 2008 boxing calendar year.
