US Rugby Team Visits Mystère by Cirque du Soleil

US Rugby player makes surprise cameo in Mystère by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island Las Vegas
The US Rugby Team took some time off from preparing for this weekend’s USA Rugby Sevens Tournament to meet Las Vegas’ original pro-sports team, the cast of Mystère by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 (Photo courtesy Cirque du Soleil)

Before the show the team visited the training room and met a few members of the cast before settling in for the early performance. They enjoyed a bit of good natured teasing before the start of the show from clown Brian Dewhurst, and, to the rest of the team’s shouts and laughter, one of the players made a surprise (to himself) cameo appearance in the show as the “Poppa” to our resident Big Baby (Just for fun, try saying “Rugby Baby Buggy Bumper” 5 times fast!)
