Thousands of fans are set to join the Las Vegas Aces in commemorating their 2025 WNBA championship win, with Grammy-winning rapper Ludacris headlining the victory party. This comes just days after the Aces outplayed the Phoenix Mercury in four straight games that cemented their big win.
While the celebratory bash, scheduled for Friday, October 15, serves as the highlight of the event, the organizers have several side attractions lined up.
The Aces Will Enjoy A Star-Studded Performance
The three-time championship winners and their fans will be treated to a night of fun as Ludacris takes the stage at the hotspot area, Toshiba Plaza. In a Wednesday announcement made on the team’s official X page, other headliners at the show include R&B star Mya and the Atlanta-based hip hop group, Crime Mob.
The Aces’ game presentation crew, known as 3PT, will coordinate and host the on-stage event to ensure smooth transitions of activities. In-arena hosts Joe Brown and CJ Simpson will also join the team in celebration. Full Tilt Dance Crew, the Raiderettes, and High Rollers are also set to be present at the shindig.
What To Expect At The Las Vegas Aces Monster Bash
Leading up to the parade and concert, which kicks off at 5 pm, the plaza will open to the public two hours earlier. Within this period, fans will have access to a pop-up merch shop while the Las Vegas Aces walk a red carpet to the main auditorium. Buyers are also allowed to purchase merchandise online. The main event will run until 7:30 pm, after which the party crew will take it elsewhere.
Vegas never sleeps, and the 2025 WNBA champions are up to the task with their full-scale party. The official after-party continues at Drai’s Nightclub at the Cromwell, where they party into the early hours of Saturday. Speaking about the upcoming all-night affair, Aces owner Mark Davis stated that the event was a show of gratitude to the city of Las Vegas and its fans. “We wouldn’t be world champions without them,” he added.
The public is being reminded that Toshiba Plaza is private property with prohibitions in place to ensure the smooth sailing of the event. The organization does not allow items such as backpacks, drones, tripods, pets, or flammable liquids on the premises.
The Teams’ Impressive Winning Streak
Following a 97-89 game against the Mercury, the Aces secured the 2025 WNBA Championship, making them a three-time title holder in four seasons. 29-year-old A’ja Wilson led her squad to victory with 28.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. This was a solid win in contrast to the beginning of the season, when the team lost its season opener in New York.
Wilson also ended the night with a fourth MVP title and a second Finals MVP title in the whole of her career. According to ESPN, Aces coach Becky Hammon proudly spoke about the superstar, referring to her as a standalone champion. “You have your mount Rusmore; she’s alone on Everest. There’s no ojr around,” Hammon gushed.
During the post-game conference, Wilson showed off a pink tambourine as a symbol of pure jubilation. She revealed that the musical instrument represented the level of joy among her teammates. The Las Vegas Aces previously claimed the much-coveted title in 2022 and 2023. Now, with another championship under their belt, the Aces are proving that in Vegas, winning isn’t luck; it’s a lifestyle.
