“We are thrilled to kick off this partnership with such a beloved team,” said Barry’s Downtown Prime Chef and Co-Owner Barry S. Dakake. “The Vegas Golden Knights play a pivotal role in our community, and we couldn’t be happier to be their home away from the ice.”

Barry’s Downtown Prime opened on October 28, 2020, at Circa, the first ground-up casino resort in downtown Las Vegas since 1980. Occupying the entirety of Circa’s 16,000-square-foot basement level, Barry’s was dreamed up by Las Vegas’ own Make It Happen Hospitality, LLC, which includes Chef Dakake, Yassine Lyoubi, Marco Cicione, and Donnie Rihn.

The restaurant launched the collaboration in style with an inaugural team dinner on Thursday, Sept. 16. The Vegas Golden Knights were wined and dined after their annual Fan Fest at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, sponsored by the D Las Vegas. Upon arrival, the team was greeted with a champagne toast from Chef Barry, Lyoubi, and Cicione. Seated in The Mint Room, Chef Barry prepared chilled shellfish platters, the original “Garbage Salad”, onion soup, fire-grilled rib-eye steaks, roasted salmon and fire chicken, alongside George’s cream corn, asparagus, Belgian potato puree, and white truffle cream sauce potato gnocchi. Desserts followed and included New York cheesecake, Christine’s carrot cake, and assorted freshly baked cookies.

Barry’s sponsorship of the Vegas Golden Knights includes a $1,000 Chef’s Table experience giveaway during 21 regular-season home games. The lucky winner will receive an all-expenses-paid dinner for up to 12 guests in a private dining area.

Inspired by Las Vegas’ alluring vintage Vegas appeal, Barry’s puts a focus on outstanding service, hospitality, and incredible cuisine. Guests have the option of dining in one of Barry’s intimate booths, or within one of its eight private and semi-private dining areas. The steakhouse prides itself on its stand-out menu that features some of the city’s finest dishes with menu highlights including the 12 oz. Rib Cap “Barry’s Steak;” chilled shellfish platters with Maine lobster, king crab legs, east & west coast oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail and others; Dover Sole with a lemon butter sauce; and vegan vegetable meatloaf. Barry’s also boasts a memorable cocktail list that is representative of the classic eras of the 50s, 60s and 70s.
