In the heart of Las Vegas, a city already known for pushing the boundaries of entertainment, a groundbreaking experience is set to redefine what a music festival can be. Meet Mega Extraterrestrial Fest V (MEF5), a three-day, multisensory, interplanetary event designed for the future. Slated for 2027, MEF5 isn’t just another festival. It’s the launch of what creators are calling the first global extraterrestrial brand, a cosmic fantasy that merges music, storytelling, and immersive technology in unprecedented ways.
“It’s the first festival with an interplanetary brand for the future,” the creators explain. “Las Vegas is the world entertainment capital where anything is possible.”
At the helm is Lucas Pina, former head of SBS Entertainment and now founder of 360 Worldwide Entertainment (360WWE), who brings more than a decade of live event production experience to the project. Pina began developing MEF5 after leaving SBS in 2019, inspired by the idea of a music-centric multiverse steeped in fantasy.
“It’s a cosmic fantasy genre that integrates philosophy, spirituality, science, and technology,” Pina explains. “Through these four narratives, we aim to provide accessible insights from a non-violent perspective, fostering a new community that identifies as the SER-SER generation.”
The SER-SER Generation refers to the festival’s intended audience: a conscious, tech-forward community of young people, aged roughly 16 to 34, who are envisioned as the cultural vanguard of a new era. “The new generations who will be the explorers of outer space, whom we call the SER-SER Generation,” say the founders. “They are 16 years old today and will be 18 in 2027, and those aged 19 to 34 plus.”
A Cosmic Story Told in Sound and Light

The MEF5 experience will feature more than 30 DJs and artists performing across three days, with 11 hours of music scheduled each day. The festival will also introduce custom-designed “characters” built for the MEF5 multiverse, each brought to life through holograms, special effects, digital animation, augmented reality, and an original soundtrack. “Our narrative (MEF5–BRAND) is the protagonist of this themed festival, along with Silver Technology,” the team explains.
The event’s multiverse will be produced by an all-star creative team. Lucas Pina is joined by co-founder and president John Fragomeni, former global president of Digital Domain, whose credits include Oscar-nominated visual effects for Spider-Man: No Way Home and Avengers: Infinity War. Also on board is four-time Tony Award winner Jere Harris, founder and executive chairman of PRG (Production Resource Group), who has produced major large-scale stage productions, including EFX at MGM Las Vegas and Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Harris brought in James Lehner, also of PRG, whose background includes attractions like Terminator 2 in 3D and Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton.
The partnerships with MGM Resorts and PRG have played a vital role. “Their strength and commitment are key to delivering a high-quality experience for the city’s audience.”
Additional partners include Weta Workshop (the special effects studio behind The Lord of the Rings), and MIO Design NYC, which is handling character development and visual effects. Grace Roeder Oppenheimer, founder and president of mergers and acquisitions at 360WWE, and Luis Pascual, chief scenographer, also round out the core executive team.
A Vision Rooted in Community and Innovation
While MEF5 will debut in Las Vegas in 2027, the long-term vision includes expanding the brand into other areas like film, gaming, and even crypto. But it all starts with the immersive, music-led experience in the Nevada desert. “What’s next is the opportunity for the audience to continue developing our narrative and the growth of our characters,” the creators note.
Every aspect of the festival, from narrative design to character creation and technological execution, is driven by a clear set of values: sustainability, creativity, inclusivity, and non-violence. “Silver Technology is the key to full integration,” the team confirms, referring to the platform that allows for “a sensory, immersive, live, virtual experience—reality.”
“The lack of a different, future-conscious live narrative addressing the space exploration we face in the SER-SER Generation” is what inspired the creators to build something from the ground up that speaks directly to this audience. “Having a team working for over 8 years focused on developing our characters and narrative, plus identifying our technology to be integrated into the festival, and our allies who have trusted in all our work,” is how they’ve overcome the challenges of producing a festival on this scale. “Now, we only need the final approval from the audience, as it is for them that we dream.”
After years of planning, MEF5 is finally ready to make contact. The countdown to 2027 has begun, and with it, the launch of a cultural movement that dares to dream across dimensions.
Because in the SER-SER Generation, the future isn’t just imagined. It’s lived.
