It is almost springtime, and if you live here in Las Vegas, you know how that first 70-degree weekend of the year flips a switch across town. The weather warms up, the slots get louder, the drinks start flowing more than ever, and everyone somehow ends up downtown. Naturally, that means a stop at Circa Las Vegas, because if anything interesting is happening on Fremont, chances are it’s happening there. Last weekend was no exception.

Any local knows one of the best views in town is found by heading 60 floors up to the Legacy Club. Whether you’re bringing friends from out of town or just trying to reset after surviving another work week, the view never gets old. We went up planning to grab a drink and enjoy the sunset, but the second those elevator doors opened, it was clear something was going on. Tucked into the corner of the lounge was the cast of 90 Day Fiancé doing Vegas exactly the way you’re supposed to. With lots of drinks, big energy, and zero plans of leaving early. Trying not to look too starstruck, we wandered over to say hello. This was when we figured out they were celebrating Josh Weinstein’s birthday. You might recognize him from the show or from the crew known as the 90 Day Bad Boys. Either way, the group was clearly leaning into full party mode. The cocktails were flowing, the music was loud, and the birthday celebration showed no signs of slowing down.

If you’ve spent enough time in this city, you know there are restaurants you just keep coming back to. No matter how many new spots open, a few classics always stay in the rotation. For Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg, that place is clearly Barry’s Downtown Prime. We got word that the two stopped in for a date night, and Jenny shared a video with her two million Instagram followers that’s already pulled in more than half a million views. If you ask Donnie, the must-order item is the Oreo Ice Cream Pie, and honestly, locals will back him up on that one. After dinner, the couple wrapped up the night posing on the red carpet with Circa Executive Richard Wilk. But the run-ins didn’t stop there.

Donnie crossed paths a week earlier at the restaurant with James Dumoulin, the face behind the massive online platform The School of Hard Knocks. Between his YouTube channel and social media presence, James has built a following of nearly 21 million people, interviewing some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs. Is a future interview in the works?

Back on the casino floor, word started spreading that entrepreneur and venture capitalist John Cerasani had pulled up with his daughter Anastasia Cerasani. She has been gaining traction online lately for her modeling career, and it looked like John was giving her a hands-on introduction to the gambling influencer world. With the dancing dealers keeping the party going, the father-daughter duo jumped into a blackjack game that quickly drew a crowd. Before long, at least 50 people had gathered around the table to watch the action. Right in the middle of it all, Circa Owner and CEO Derek Stevens made his usual pass through the pit to greet guests. Cameras were rolling throughout the night, and between John and Anastasia’s social channels, millions eventually tuned in to see the action since this is Circa, the night wrapped in classic downtown fashion with another pull from the Lucky Box vending machine. What did they win? Only Vegas knows.

March Madness in Vegas these next few weeks is going to get crazy! Well, Circa Resort & Casino is already living up with the craziness when fans spotted popular basketball influencer, Alan Palesano, known as “Whit3 Iverson” on social media and the “King of the West Coast Basketball Scene” for his 1v1 streetball skills, was seen staying at Circa. He was also seen taking photos with fans while pulling a Kobe Bryant Rookie Card PSA 10, his favorite basketball player from the Lucky Box.

If last week is any indication, things aren’t slowing down anytime soon. The first warm week of the year always sets the tone, and if this one was any preview, it’s going to be a lively summer in Downtown Las Vegas.
