Making History at Coachella

The announcement of the award-winning singer’s headlining tour comes days after making history at Coachella. Per Rollingstone, Karol G debuted at the music and arts festival as the first Latina to headline, signalling an outstanding career milestone. She delivered a high-energy performance that drew one of the festival’s largest crowds.
The eight-time Latin Grammy winner showcased her Tropicoqueta era, representing the epitome of her Latin music genre. Karol G started off strong with fan-favorites including “Latina Forever,” “Papasito,” and “El Makinon.” The performance also included elaborate stage production, choreography, and visual elements that aligned with her stadium-level presentation style.
Her glorious performance on stage was not a standalone but rather a concerted effort of undisputable talents. Karol G ushered in fellow stars Becky G, Cigarettes After Sex guitarist Greg González, and Wisin at different points during her set. She also treated fans to a vibrant performance from an all-female mariachi band.
Inside Karol G’s Career Success So Far

Karol G’s rise to global stardom has been driven by a series of successful releases and chart-topping hits. Her 2023 album Mañana Será Bonito became a landmark project, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earning widespread acclaim.
