Launched in 2006, Armand de Brignac became closely associated with hip-hop culture and luxury branding. Jay-Z helped bring the label into the spotlight and later expanded his involvement in the business. In 2021, luxury group LVMH acquired a 50% stake in the brand.

The anniversary celebration gave the rapper an opportunity to mark the milestone alongside his wife and an extensive group of industry peers. Their Las Vegas appearance also followed a busy weekend for the Carter family, with Jay-Z’s Los Angeles performances drawing attention to both his musical legacy and his family’s presence at the shows.
