In honor of Disability Awareness Month and the 30th Anniversary of the Disability Act, New Vista, the largest non-profit provider of supported living arrangements for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Nevada, and the award-winning donut connoisseurs at Donut Bar will be giving back with a month-long donut donation campaign to recognize and honor those living with disabilities.

Raising dough never tasted so sweet. Throughout the month of July, Downtown Las Vegas’ donut destination, Donut Bar, will donate 100% of the proceeds from the purchase of its aptly colored Blueberry with Meyer Lemon (disability awareness colors) donut to New Vista, the largest non-profit provider of supported living arrangements for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Nevada.

“Donut Bar is always looking for fun ways that we can support and give back to our fellow Las Vegans,” says Jeff Thomas, Executive Chef of Donut Bar. “We’re thrilled for the opportunity to partner with an organization like New Vista. The community they’ve built and services they provide to the IDD community have been instrumental to the success of its members living independent and fulfilling lives.”

The delicious treat will be proudly renamed the New Vista Donut and will be available to purchase for $2 throughout the celebratory month. All proceeds from the New Vista Donut will benefit New Vista members and provide services, training, and housing for people living with IDD in Southern Nevada.
