Exclusively Vegas Website Connects Local Residents to Restaurants, Other Merchants, Open During Coronavirus Pandemic

With concern for the health of the Vegas local economy in mind, one local startup is trying to give locally-owned restaurants a boost.

Exclusively Vegas was originally slated to launch in April as a subscription service for discounts to local restaurants, gaming, entertainment and more. Now, with the Coronavirus pandemic, the entrepreneurs behind it have shifted their focus to provide support for the local economy.

Exclusively Vegas is waving its $50 subscription fee and instead using its website as a means to link local residents to restaurants and other merchants still open during the pandemic, many of which are offering considerable discounts as well.

“We want to be a conduit between Las Vegas residents and the local restaurant community,” said Jess Horan, CEO and co-founder of Exclusively Vegas. “In tough times, we have to put the health of others ahead of our own business goals. We hope our website can help these important small businesses through this.”

While national chains may be positioned to rebound after the shutdowns, smaller locally-based restaurants may not be so fortunate. The new website is encouraging any and all Las Vegas restaurants wanting to get the word out about specials or to simply let the community know they’re open during the pandemic to reach out to Exclusively Vegas to have their names on the site.

Exclusively Vegas was co-founded by Horan, founder of Original Cocktail Club, and Lindsay Stewart, also known as @thelasvegasfoodie on Instagram, one the city's main foodie influencers. Exclusively Vegas has a strategic partnership with Las Vegas Advisor, which has been around for more than 30 years with deals focusing on gaming, entertainment and more.

Exclusively Vegas lists any restaurant that wants to be included, but also has a “Featured” section highlighting special promotions exclusive to Exclusively Vegas subscribers—whether it’s a complimentary appetizer, free delivery, 25% off the entire bill or other special offers.
