Sahara Las Vegas Hosts Draft Day Viewing Party
The event is free and open to the public, and will feature menu favorites from Chickie’s & Pete’s, opening this summer.
In anticipation of the grand opening of the first West Coast location of Chickie’s and Pete’s sports bar and crab house at SAHARA Las Vegas this summer, the resort is hosting a special Draft Day viewing party in the Sahara Theater, Thursday, April 29, complete with giveaways, drink specials and delectable bites.
The viewing party is 21+, admission is free and doors will open at 4 p.m. with open seating on a first come, first served basis.
In addition to serving cheesesteak sandwiches ($8) and Crabfries ($4) from Chickie’s & Pete’s, the full menu from Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen will be available for guests to order from the new mobile ordering platform, Mr Yum.
Drink specials include a lineup of $10 draft party cocktails, featuring the Swoop, There It Is! with Bacardi, fresh tiki sour and grenadine; the S.O.T.D. Mule with Tito’s vodka, pineapple puree and ginger beer; the G.O.A.T. Margarita with Casamigos Blanco tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and agave nectar; and the On the Road to Victory with Jim Beam peach bourbon, lemon juice and watermelon Red Bull.
Beer specials include $6 draft beers (Bud Light and Golden Road Mango Cart) and $5 bottles/$20 buckets of domestics (Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and Bud Light seltzers) and $6 bottles/$25 buckets of imports (Corona and Modelo Especial).
Exciting giveaways will take place throughout the viewing party and one grand prize winner, announced at the end of the event, will walk away with a Philadelphia Eagles helmet signed by defensive end Derek Barnett. Each guest will receive a raffle ticket to be entered to win the grand prize.
Philadelphia-based Chickie’s & Pete’s is a favorite among both athletes and fans and is as popular for its unique sports bar experience as it is for its famous Crabfries and elevated bar cuisine.
Named the best sports bar in North America by ESPN, signature menu items include Chickie’s and Pete’s Crabfeast and Lisa’s Blonde Lobster Pie pizza. Chickie’s and Pete’s will serve as the homebase of SAHARA’s William Hill sportsbook.
Event attendance will be limited to 50% occupancy with social distancing for safety as SAHARA Las Vegas continues to follow all health and safety guidelines as set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), World Health Organization and the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).
