Sparrow + Wolf Announces Fourth Annual Bastille Day Celebration: Riviera Edition

Sparrow + Wolf Announces Bastille Day Brunch July 12

Chef Brian Howard and co-owner John Anthony have announced plans for Sparrow + Wolf’s fourth annual Bastille Day celebration. Every year the acclaimed Las Vegas neighborhood restaurant transforms for one day into a modern French brasserie, from the menu and cocktails to uniforms, music and more. This year, the restaurant will evoke summer on the Riviera with a daytime brunch edition on Sunday July 12 from 11 am-4 pm.

“We love to pay tribute to the great tradition of French cooking, which has influenced us so much both culturally and personally,” said Chef Brian. “Plus, it’s a great excuse for a party.”

The special menu for the event will explore French classics but of course with the world view diners would expect from the Sparrow + Wolf team. For example, French onion soup will be based on shoyu ramen broth; escargots will come in green curry and coconut butter sauce with crispy garlic; the lamb tartine is garnished with sweet pepper and olive tapenade, fromage blanc, pickled onion and cress. On the brunch side of things, there will be a duck confit benedict on sourdough waffle with morel mushroom hollandaise and a Japanese style rolled omelette. And just for fun, S+W are doing their own take on a ‘McRib” with wood fired country rib meat and their own Sichuan sauce!

For beverages, the bar will present the Type 38, a twist on the French 75 featuring Sipsmith gin, and Bloody Hanako-San, a bloody mary with a distinctly Asian bent, using Haku vodka. French bubbles will be offered from Perrier-Jouet and J.P. Chenet.

Adam The DJ provides entertainment, spinning some French Riviera vibes all afternoon.

The restaurant is still observing all safety protocols including reduced seating, so reservations are absolutely recommended via website or phone: sparrowandwolflv.com  (702) 790-2147
