Stayin’ Home Cooking Celebrity Recipes to Benefit Those in Need
Murray SawChuck’s rescue pup, Smudge, approves of this recipe!

When the going gets tough…the tough get cooking. The Stayin’ Home Cooking online cookbook was created to address the need for food, fun and philanthropy during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Two high school friends, actress Romy Rosemont from the television series “Glee” and entertainment manager/producer Gina Rugolo Judd, have joined together to create an online culinary community dedicated to nourishing the heart and soul of all of us during this unprecedented time.

With the help of their celebrity friends and colleagues, they have collected delicious recipes and crafted them into an online resource. The recipes are free for all, but donations are gratefully accepted. One hundred percent of the donations received will benefit reputable charities that are leading the way in assisting those affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Current charitable affiliations include Project Angel Food, Friends of the Family, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, Broadway Cares, and Glorious Pies/Autism Works Now. Each week new foundations will rotate in.

Current celebrity participation and recipe donations have been garnered from Henry Winkler, Chris Colfer, Amy Irving, Alfred Molina, Laura San Giacomo, Stephen Root, Kathy Najimy, Lara Flynn Boyle, Wayne Knight, Lin Shaye, Mary McCormack, Toni Trucks, Sharon Lawrence, Vincent Spano, Murray The Magician, D’Arcy Carden, Jenna Ushkowitz, psychic mediums John Edward and Char Margolis, Bruce Greenwood, Sarah Goldberg, Tony Hale, Yvette Nicole Brown, Tracey Bregman and more. Recipes and personal stories are posted on a regular basis, so the site remains fresh and evergreen. Stayin’ Home Cooking serves up delicious meal options and a healthy dose of fan-favorite personalities – all inspired by the desire to give back to worthwhile charities.
