Your Guide to Restaurant Week Las Vegas 2021

After a hiatus last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Las Vegas Restaurant Week returns for its 14th installment June 7 – 18.

More than 120 participating restaurants will be offering three-course prix fixe menus. The price points range from $20-$80. A fixed portion of the meal’s cost will support Three Square Food Bank and the one in eight Southern Nevadans that are food insecure.

“From local mom-and-pop eateries to celebrity-owned restaurants along the Strip, Las Vegas Restaurant Week is a time when the culinary and greater Southern Nevada communities come together to make a difference in the fight against hunger,” said Brian Burton, president and CEO of Three Square Food Bank.

Restaurant Week’s organizer, Three Square, has announced major changes to the culinary event. This year’s approach will focus on more driving businesses to support the culinary community that took a hard hit in 2020.

“Southern Nevada has been impacted tremendously by the health and economic fallout of COVID-19, especially our local restaurants. We hope to offer aid through the 12-day event while also benefiting our food-insecure neighbors,” said Burton.

This year, Three Square will only receive $1 per cover, instead of collecting $4-$6 of every meal sold. For the first time ever, Restaurant Week will also offer takeout options in addition, to dine in.

In 2020, Three Square did not hold Las Vegas Restaurant Week. Instead, the food bank focused on local food distribution efforts. According to their website, food insecurity has soared to record-high. Since the pandemic, one in five residents in Southern Nevada are currently facing food insecurity.

In 2019, Las Vegas Restaurant Week smashed records, totaling $260,000. The food bank was able to provide approximately 780,000 meals to the more than 272,000 food-insecure residents in Southern Nevada.

“This event continues to be a success year after year because of the generosity of the people who live and work here. Thanks to our amazing neighbors across the valley, we’re able to continue our mission of pursuing a hunger-free community,” said Burton.
