Resorts World Las Vegas Unveils Highly Anticipated LED Screen Over 4th of July Weekend
Resorts World Las Vegas continues to build anticipation of the Strip’s newest integrated resort with the launch of its awaited 100,000-square-foot LED Screen located on the resort’s West Tower.
On Saturday, July 4, the US $4.3 billion integrated resort turned on one of the largest LED building displays in the U.S. and provided a first look into the progressive technology the property will bring to the Las Vegas Strip when its doors open in summer 2021.
Taking place during the holiday weekend, the resort made the Strip a little brighter as 3,552 individual LED panels projected its first-ever imagery for the world to see. Sitting at approximately 294 feet high and 340 feet wide, the extravagant screen showcased a captivating display of digital fireworks in which red, white and blue pixels emulating firework sparks morphed into imagery of patriotic U.S. symbols.
The LED screen took approximately even months to install and is the first of several LED displays for the property. Anticipated to total over 200,000 square feet of LED content across the resort, additional displays will include a 19,000-square-foot East Tower LED Screen, 10,000-square-foot marquee, 50-foot diameter video globe, which will display over 6,000-square-feet of captivating LED content, and more.
As previously announced, Resorts World Las Vegas will combine traditional and modern architecture, weaving a new luxury hotel experience into the fabric of Las Vegas with Asian-inspired touches, progressive technology and world-class guest service. The integrated resort will include a variety of amenities such as 3,500 luxury guestrooms and suites; extensive food and beverage portfolio featuring a wide range of cuisine from authentic street food to Michelin-star dining; a 5,000-capacity state-of-the-art theatre; 65,000 square feet of immersive nightlife and daylife space; 222,000-square-foot pool complex with nine unique pool experiences; and more.
Details about future activation of the screen will be announced in the coming months.
