Golden Knight’s Star Ryan Reaves to Officiate a Wedding in Las Vegas

Chapel of the Flowers recently held a contest with professional hockey player Ryan Reaves to have him officiate a wedding. Reaves, who plays for the Vegas Golden Knights, is known for his vibrant personality and physical play on the ice.

The contest offered fans of the Golden Knights a chance to be married by Reaves.

The Winner will receive what is called the “Golden Wedding Package.” Friends sending flowers to the USA can join in on the fun because the complete package includes 50 guests and wedding photography. The winner will also receive a two-night stay at the Downtown Grand Hotel and will meet Reaves.

The contest allows for participants to renew their vows, too.

The total wedding package is valued at $4,000 and Reaves will be the wedding officiant. Winners who plan on sending flowers from the USA will be in for a treat, with the contest offering unique wedding florals, a coordinator, limousine service and a wedding planner as part of the package.

Winners of the package were announced last ween on Facebook. The ceremony will take place on September 1 and will offer accommodations for up to 50 guests. The La Capella Chapel will serve as the venue. The CEO of the Chapel claims that the Knights have brought a lot of pride to the city and that everyone is a fan of Reaves.

The ceremony will be closed to the public, but there will be a live broadcast that allows fans of the Knights to watch the special ceremony.

Reaves will be performing the ceremony, but his name will not be added to the filed marriage documents.
